In a dark corner of web3, a cabal of Traders gather to produce a healthy supply of $PROFIT. They work together on the blockchain only to have their portfolios trimmed by their bosses to farm the $PROFIT. With more $PROFIT, the bosses can leverage more Traders! But out on the blockchain lurks dangers the Traders are hunted by… The MEVbots. The MEVbots are on the hunt for Traders and their precious $PROFIT. They’ll take it by any means necessary. They sandwich Traders or catch them unaware and steal all of their $PROFIT. So the bosses struck a deal with the MEVbots: they pay the MEVbots a tax on all $PROFIT production. In return, the MEVbots don’t attack Traders who are safe on the blockchain. But when a Trader breaks the agreement by leaving the blockchain or a new Trader is coined, the MEVbots don’t hold back. --------------- Profit Wars is a risk protocol for ERC20 tokens with fun tokenomics. It shows what’s possible with interactions between competing ERC20 tokens. In Profit Wars your tokens can steal other tokens for you. The tl;dr:
- There will only ever be 10,000 Gen 0 boxes, minted for 0.069420 ETH each. The 40,000 Gen 1 are minted by farming $PROFIT. - Traders can be staked on the Blockchain to earn $PROFIT and pay a tax anytime they claim their $PROFIT earnings. - If a Trader is unstaked from the Blockchain, the MEVbots try to steal all of its accumulated $PROFIT. - When a new Trader is created, the MEVbots attempt to kidnap it. If they’re successful, it’s given to a randomly selected MEVbot, instead of the owner who minted it.

MEVbots
You have a 10% chance of minting a box of MEVbot tokens, each of varying Tier. The higher the Tier value: - The higher the portion of $PROFIT that the MEVbot earns from taxes. - The higher chance of stealing a newly minted Trader or MEVbot box.
Example:
MEVbot A has an Tier of 4 and MEVbot B has an Tier of 2, and they are staked.
- If 70,000 $PROFIT total have been accumulated as taxes, MEVbot A will be able to claim 61,000 $PROFIT and MEVbot B will be able to claim 9,000 $PROFIT
- If a newly minted Trader or MEVbot is stolen, MEVbot A has a 87% chance of receiving it and MEVbot B has a 13% chance of receiving it.
Only staked MEVbots are able to steal a Trader or earn the $PROFIT tax.

On Chain Gaming
Protocol-level risk is ripe for exploration in ERC-20s. Many projects are implementing stake-to-earn, but haven’t cracked the code on users making choices in the face of risk. In the case of Profit Game’s MEVbot-eat-Trader world, your staked MEVbot tokens can steal other ERC-20 tokens for you. Everything in Profit Wars happens on-chain. It’s split between 4 different smart contracts so that anyone can read through and get a sense of how it all talks to each other. There are a number of techniques in these contracts that make this all possible while maintaining accuracy, keeping gas costs down, and not exceeding the EVM contract size limit.
UI At launch:
You can use the entirety of Profit Wars by directly interacting with the blockchain (like through Blastscan), but Profit Wars is launching with a custom UI to make it easy for people to enjoy the game on day 1.
